Modern interior space with a large skylight, white walls, and a dark ceiling. Artworks hang on a blue wall, and there is a bar area with glassware and decorations. Sunlight casts shadows through the skylight.

GOOD DESIGN IS

3% INSPIRATION,

97% PERSPIRATION

Practice:

My practice specializes in high-end residential design, frequently on hillside lots. I have found that the greater the difficulties of a given site, the more creative and unique the final solution becomes. I provide full design services above and beyond the design of the home, including land contouring (grading design), site improvements, through the complete home design, producing highly detailed drawings for inside and out.

Design Philosophy:

I believe that a home is designed from the inside out. The interior, where we spend most of our time, should be integral with the exterior, and vice versa. Function, structure, and aesthetics are equally balanced for an efficient, cost-effective, and beautiful design. Considering exterior conditions such as topography, land use, views and privacy affect all aspects of the design. Each project is tailored to it’s site, and the client’s needs, desires, and budget. The interior space design (architectural interiors), site design, and landscape/hardscape design are integral parts of any architectural project.  A casual cottage or a dynamic architectural statement, each project will reflect the character as the homeowner dreams of for their new home.
